Welcome to the Santa Fe Pony Club Website.
Here's what's happening!
Camp applications are available online. Camp is filling up quickly so get your stuff in.
New ratings for our club: Grace and Sophia both achieved their D1 ratings. (Grace in the most atrocious wind!). Lynette and Julia passed their D2 ratings with strong showings. Congratulations ladies. Madeline will go for her D3 in May and we wish her well.
The Fun Rally at the Goose Downs Show had eight participants: Phoebe, Julia, Lynette and Caroline (who joined us from Los Alamos) rode and Sophia, Annie, Grace and our newest member Shani were Horse Managers.
Don't forget the tetrathalon camp in early June. Call Anne or Jeffray. Camp applications will appear here next week.
A big thank you to Karen Nord, Judy Chester and Robin Dunlap for their generous donations to our Club. Equipment, clothes, teaching tapes, all kinds of things for us to use in the Club or be able to sell and have funds for our programs. You ladies are great. I also want to mention that Holly at Barn Dogs and Lorraine at Desert Wind are extremely supportive of our club. We thank you and appreciate your support.
- The Santa Fe Pony Club in conjunction with Goose Downs Farm is holding a

About the Santa Fe Pony Club
We're a chapter of the United States Pony Club and are now meeting at least once a month in Santa Fe. If you are a kid interested in horses and riding check us out! The United States Pony Club is a national organization (Pony Club itself is international with clubs in the United Kingdom and other European countries) with local clubs in every state and national headquarters at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky.
Children ages 8 and up who join Pony Club learn safe, responsible riding and horse care and take part in organized horse rides and activities with others who share their love of horses. The program is a great way for children to connect with animals and form friendships with other kids who enjoy spending time with horses.

What does the Santa Fe Pony Club do?
- The Club recently held their very first meeting to plan and organize events
- Pony Clubbers will enjoy 3 free Federation Days throughout the year
- Pony Club members recently competed in a "Tetrathalon" which included riding, shooting, and other specific competitions.
